Halfway point!  Today did not disappoint. 

We had a Toast Party...What, cray-tell is a toast party?  It is a party where you drink and eat toast of course.

Ahhhh....afternoons at the pool are fabulous.

30 Fun things in 30 Days: Day 13

I got to hang out with the dogs..

One of my bestest friends is in town because she is amazing.  We went to the wineries, some amazing dinner at a hole-in-the-wall pizza place which is one of my favorites when excited on wine, and a few quality bands at a few quality bars.  Today was my favorite day home, surrounded by my favorite people (over 20 people showed up---y'all are awesome).  This is why I love this place.

Lucky I had someone volunteer to be my photographer.

But I think maybe he was drunk...or he was 4...

so his picture taking skills were a little off

30 Fun things in 30 Days: Day 12

I got a super cute new haircut today.  My lovely hairdresser put some layers in front.  I told her she could do what she wanted as long as I can cut it to donate in a year.  I also got to see a lovely new little lady on this universes.  She is beautiful and her parents are beaming.  I am so excited to see that little family grow.  No pictures of the baby because of creepy baby stalkers who jack off to pictures online.   

30 Fun things in 30 Days: Day 11

Went to St. Louis today for an appointment and to hang with my best friend...and to eat two of my favorite restaurants ever.  Delicious.  I also go clothes for my interview.  Holy shit, this stuff is for real.  Also my best friend has the best apartment ever.  I am jealous.  Here is how the best part of my day went.

30 Fun things in 30 Days: Day 10

I am not really sure what i am doing here either

Today I went to see my dentist.  Now some people don't like the dentist, but I do.  My favorite part is when the hygienist scrapes my teeth with that two ended pirate hook.  The rest of it kinda hurts, but the scraper bit makes up for it.  I had lunch with a few people I love, made alcoholic melon, then hung out with some lovely lady friends.  Then I realized I am an old 30 year-old, and went home and went to bed.  Oh, and a friend gave me a homemade pair of earrings.  She is bad-ass, as are most of the people I love.      

30 Fun things in 30 Days: Day 9

Today I took the girls for a walk (blah...it is hot at 7 am here.  I thought about attempting a jog, but one of the girls, I won't mention names, was panting at about a minute in...so we didn't.  Dear mom, sorry I killed your dog on our jog...not good on the 3rd day home.  I had lunch with a few people I really dig at a eatery I really dig (minus the time there was a really horrible hostess and i refused to go).  Then had a good conversation with my pops about creole versus cajan food...then got to spend the whole afternoon with one of my best friends.  Despite the horrible heat, I LOVE BEING HOME!!!!!  Here is me and one of my besties on our way home from the winery.  We were too busy having fun at the winery and eating grapes (Dear so ill- I love your local grapes) to bother with pictures at the time. 

I am glad she was driving...I am such a lightweight now

Then I spent the night with my mama and the girls.  Which is so lovely.  I love home.
